A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD

Dear Alice,

Elliott had a great time at Chaldercot Conference Centre this week. His script, which was further refined on the camp, is now to be entered in both the NSW Young Dramatists – Page to Stage competition, and also the Sydney Theatre Company’s Young Playwright Award. He was pretty horrid for a couple of days afterwards, until the tiredness began to recede… but he’s now back to his normal witty, loveable self again.

Tristan began club football training this week for the local Division 1 team. How many games he will end up playing for them remains to be seen. Once both the club and school draws are released next month, then I guess we will have a better idea. But if nothing else, the extra training will be good for him.

The rabbits are now so out of control here that the Council has this week (somehow) released the Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease (RHD) which it is said ‘will bring their numbers under control’. I now have visions of all these sick bunnies limping around the front lawn coughing and ‘haemorrhaging’ blood everywhere… Lovely, and just in time for Easter an’ all.
