About us

We live in Sydney, which some say is the most photogenic city in the world. There’s five of us, well eight if you count the dog and two chickens. Teacher Mum and I travelled to Australia from England back in 1989 – just for a year, that was the plan. You know, live and work in another country before finally succumbing to the inevitable timetable of better jobs, children, more bedrooms, more children, more… you get the picture. After winning Australia’s Funniest Home Video Show though and the electronic gadgets this good fortune provided, we decided to stay on a bit longer. Our visas permitted it, the new TV was state of the art JVC and the weather was miles better than England, so hey, why not? Twenty years on, we’re still here and still trying to win Australia’s Funniest Home Video Show again…
